Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using Threado. They govern your use of our platform and describe your rights and responsibilities.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Threado ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Threado. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@threado.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Permitted Use
You may use Threado to create, schedule, and publish content to your own Threads account. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with: • Meta's Threads API Terms of Use • Meta's Community Standards • All applicable local, national, and international laws You may not use Threado to publish spam, harass other users, violate intellectual property rights, or engage in any activity that violates Meta's policies.
5. Connected Accounts & API Access
When you connect your Threads account, you authorize Threado to access and use the Threads API on your behalf to publish posts, retrieve analytics, and perform other actions you initiate within the platform. You may revoke this access at any time from your Threads account settings. Threado is not responsible for content published as a result of automated features you configure (such as scheduling).
6. AI-Generated Content
Threado uses AI to assist with content creation. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before publishing. We make no guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or appropriate. Do not publish AI-generated factual claims without verifying them independently.
7. Subscriptions & Billing
Some features of Threado require a paid subscription. Billing is handled by Freemius. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your chosen plan. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
8. AI Credits
Paid plans include a monthly allocation of AI credits used to power AI features (generation, planning, repurposing, etc.). Credits reset monthly and do not carry over. Unused credits are forfeited at the end of each billing cycle. If you cancel your subscription, you lose access to any remaining credits.
9. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you create using Threado. By using the Service, you grant Threado a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. Threado's platform, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Threado and protected by intellectual property laws.
10. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features that depend on the Meta Threads API may be affected by outages, rate limits, or policy changes by Meta. We are not liable for disruptions caused by third-party services.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, abuse of the platform, or fraudulent activity. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@threado.app.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or that AI-generated content will meet your expectations.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Threado shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or engagement resulting from publishing or scheduling actions.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Threado operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
